When I'm not chasing light & third wheeling with you and your honeys, you'll likely find me swimming in a body of water, browsing antique shops for odd trinkets, admiring fungi and other forest floor treasures, singing badly with all the windows down, advocating for anti-oppression and social change, howling at the moon or taking naps with dogs.

I chose Honey & Lux to characterize the energy of my concept. Honey reminds me of home. Of warmth & groundedness. Often described as 'Amber' in colour- like golden hour, like a candle flame. A poetic reference to my name and to what I aim to embody in my work. The sweet & natural vibe plays into the earthy & emotional tones of my photographic style. Wildflower honey is my personal fave, and I like to describe myself as a wildflower human - growing through cracks of pavement, soaking up light wherever I find it, hanging out on roadsides and viewing ordinary spaces as extraordinary. These attributes translate into my art style in visual storytelling. The other part of the name, "Lux", means light! Essential to photography and essential to life. For me, capturing your story feels like lighting a match in the dark - a reminder of love, joy, friendship, community and belonging. A practice in gratitude.
